With an extended day and an extended school year, my students and the staff at our school truly know what it takes to be team and family. The hard work of the students and staff in the building are meant to change the trajectory of our students' lives. They are deserving of any and every support available to make that happen. We will be a proof-point that schools with high concentrations of students that live in low-income communities are actually buildings filled with innovative, creative, engaged, passionate and valuable contributors to our community.
