I love my kids, and I love reading. I hope my kids can love to read also. I was recently showing my students a video book as a reward for showing progress, and one of my students was so excited, he said, "No teacher has ever read that story to me before!". I guess it hadn't occurred to him that his parents could read him a story, or that I hadn't really read it, but showed him a video of a Hollywood actor reading it. I appreciate your help with teaching my kids to read, so that hopefully one day, they can read to their children! PS-I originally requested Chromebooks, but they are not available. So I went for Ipads instead. I hope I didn't confuse anyone. We are borrowing Ipads from a teacher down the hall when we can get them! I had 8 students show up for the Breakfast Club to read last Tuesday! Hoping tp see it grow! Thanks again for taking the time to read this!
