Citizen science is an important part of learning at the junior high level. It involves students going out in their own communities and doing the actual work of scientists. Students will isolate water quality samples, conduct experiments, and collect real-world data using the electronic probes from our list. Electronic probes are more accurate, easier, and safer for students to use. They do not require mixing or using harsh chemicals which makes using electronic probes more sustainable. Students working in teams can collect collect and save data on site whether it is in the classroom or in their own backyard. We need accurate data that can be analyzed in the classroom and submitted to the GLOBE.GOV program. Our data will then be amassed and analyzed by real scientist across the planet. This is a wonder opportunity for students to see how the science they learn and use impacts the world at large. Please help us.
