My students will use these materials to begin our classroom journey into the world of MAKING. Using a STEM teaching philosophy, I will guide my students through hands-on learning and problem solving in a motivating and fun environment. We're going to get a bit messy, learn a lot, and have some fun! The students will use these materials to problem solve, work in groups, and explore! Each students engagement with the items will vary basted on their IEP goals. Some students will use the marble run and building manipulatives to problem solve and work together with peers. Others will work on learning cause and effect. I've also requested several items for my sensory table for the students in my classroom who learn best through sensory play and investigation. I'm eager to see what my students can create!
