Research and forming arguments are a key components in developing ideas and the technology access of these computers will assist my students in making informed decisions. My students are learning how to form arguments based on data and supporting evidence. We have an organic garden in which they can use the tablets to record soil sample data and water quality data. Learning how to responsibly use portable technology is a priority for this day and age. Rather than using it for social media, they will also learn how to use it as a source for information. Creating responsible digital citizens is the responsibility of all teachers.

About my class
