The boys in my class love to move around, but they also love to read. Movement is built into the DNA of most boys, so I allow them the freedom to move around even while we are reading. They even have the ability to stretch out in the floor if they'd like. We have reading centers during our reading time and these pillows will enhance their reading experience. I want to integrate comfort and learning. Our budget was cut drastically this year, so much so we don't have a reading curriculum. This allows me the freedom to challenge my students while choosing books they will enjoy reading. With the addition of these pillows to our learning environment my boys will have the books they want to read and a comfortable place to read them.
