The students need a place to come to the carpet and feel like they have their own space and are not being crowded by others. This will help them with their learning and ability to focus on the tasks at hand. The rug will help them feel like they have their own space. Student's need to be able to understand what they are learning! They need manipulatives to help them be hands on in math, without manipulatives students struggle to understand all the concepts being taught in class. The class is also in need of quality centers for reading and math. This will allow the students to work at their level on skills they need to be working on without feeling excluded from class activities.
