Having a document camera in my classroom will ensure that all students can see and participate in the learning environment. Currently, I am teaching my students to read using the Wilson Reading System. With the document camera, I can project the information on to the smart board so all my kiddos will be able to follow along which means reading success. My students love to share their work with their classmates. A document camera will allow them to project their work onto the smart board also. The whole class can engage with questions and responses to each child's project. These interactions encourage learning as well as giving a sense of pride to each child that shares.
