We are working toward inspiring students, faculty, and parents to live a lifetime of fitness by creating a new workout room. The emphasis on exercise is part of the school's attempt to combat childhood obesity. By introducing students to regular exercise at a young age, they can instill habits that will remain with them for a lifetime. We would like to recreate our gym storage area to create the ultimate fitness room for as many people as possible. We will start by painting the walls and getting the room ready for rubber flooring. We then want to incorporate different materials, equipment, and machines to maximize this space. We are requesting new stability balls and racks to hold them. This room will be used by all students in the building. We will be starting before and after school fitness intramurals which will be open for students and staff. Thank you for taking the time to read our request and hopefully donate. Any help is greatly appreciated.
