In my move to Alaska, I filled half of my car with teaching supplies and shipped multiple boxes of my other teacher things-- but I still left many of my favorite books behind. I am working on building my first grade class library back up! These books will help build a library where first graders can experience the excitement and wonder of a library. I also need a pocket chart for my class calendar to help teach students math and facilitate class math talk around calendar. It is critical that students leave first grade as readers. Fostering a love of reading and a habit of reading exploration is a great step towards growing lifelong readers! Thank you for considering supporting this important project!
