Our school is working on creating a sensory room to meet the needs of our students. The school recognizes the benefits of having such a room available. It will assist students to manage their anxiety levels, help with hand and eye coordination, increase social interaction and improve fine motor skills. The items requested will help build this room to help students regulate their sensory needs. 
 Our school has seen an increase in the number of students with disabilities. All students are provided with the required special education services. but find that many of our student have sensory issues. I am asking for assistance to purchase sensory equipment to begin to develop a sensory room. Many of our special needs students néed an area to decompress and meet all there sensory issues. We would like to be able to provide the services that they need.
