Six and seven-year-old students are little "balls of energy!" Because of this, my students tend to learn better through active engagement and hands-on learning. The Osmo game system, which is compatible with our class set of iPads, allows students to engage in game-based activities while developing mathematical thought, number, and spatial sense. The Osmo gaming system lets my students learn academic content through play-- which is what first grade should be ALL ABOUT! Your support of this project will provide students with independent and partner Osmo work stations, allowing me to teach small instructional groups meeting student's diverse academic needs.
