The beanbag chairs will make as a great reward for students that are being all stars. It will also create a reading space in my classroom that will encourage students to want to earn the privilege of being able to use the "reading chairs." It will make the students feel more at home, which is really important in creating a sense of community within the classroom. The color printer will be useful when printing posters and reminders on topics we are learning about in the classroom. Students, especially those who struggle, will be more apt to look at them when certain things can be color coded and more eye catching! My favorite subject to teach is Science, yet a lot of my students struggle when it comes to enjoying this subject. The science magazines will make learning about science fun and exciting. Students will be able to see science in a different light as well as practice reading material on topics that are interesting to them as well as educational.
