In the world we now live in, I believe it is important for our students to learn the power of giving back and doing nice things for other people. Through our garden I hope to grow flowers and various vegetables that we will ultimately donate to our local nursing homes and food bank. Not only will the children learn about giving back, they will also learn the value of hard work. Through this process, my hope is the students will gain valuable knowledge and skills as well as a desire and a love of giving to others. Learning through giving is a valuable skill and experience.

About my class
