Our school is currently a Title I school with over 65% Free and Reduced lunch. The property within our school district is mostly rental property and the apartment buildings are some of the oldest in the community and therefore do not appeal to many people that rent. We are a small college community and have serve the children of many college students. Our College is known for being a college requiring no tuition and students attending college work a minimum of 10 hours a week for below minimum wage. Many of the students that have children in our school are single and come from homes with limited income. They are away from family and have very few resources. Our faculty is well trained and everyone at our school works very hard. We all spend lots of our own personal money to provide for our students. We have lots of local owned craft businesses in our community.
