Students in my classes earn classroom currency that can be utilized to purchase items in our end of the year auction. Students can earn "money" by staying on task, working diligently, helping a fellow classmate, solving logic puzzles, etc. They track their earnings using a "balance sheet", just like adults do with their check registers. The auction is always a big hit and creates an exciting way to reward my students for the hard work and effort they have put forth throughout the school year. The theme for this year's auction is games! Students will have the opportunity to "purchase" a game that they can keep and share with their families at home. I hope each time they play their game, they think of all the fun they had in my class!
