My students are all newcomers and are learning English. I also have a SLIFE Special education class. These students can be intimidated participate on the board. With the iPad students are able to participate form anywhere in the room. The iPad and the iPad pen are ideal for when students are explaining their thinking. Their ideas will be able to be seen on the projected screen. Using math graphing apps students will be able to graph precisely using the iPad. Another benefit is that these notes will be able to be saved and students can access them remotely from anywhere.
