The new furniture will make the classroom fun and exciting. I want my classroom to have a welcoming environment. The desks are different with bright colors and will help start our flexible seating journey. I have some different color yoga ball seating which the students love! The new additions will help take our classroom into the 21st Century. Flexible classrooms give students a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them, and help them to work collaboratively, communicate, and engage in critical thinking. Multiple activities take place in adaptable environments. Furnishings can aid or inhibit student engagement. ­­­ Just imagine the innovation and inspiration that can be born of active learning.
