My students with Autism, ADHD, and Auditory Processing Disorder can struggle with too much background noise. The noise becomes a nuisance, therefore making it hard for the student to focus and process learning. The sound blocking headphones will make it possible for the student to remain in the classroom while completing assignments, taking tests, and working in centers. The donations of this project will allow my students to be successful at school. The headphones can help to minimize or eliminate student outbursts and disruptions. They can assist in drowning out extra noise in the lunchroom so the student can eat without acting out. They can also assist on the playground, allowing the student to go out for recess. There are many learning advantages to using these headphones for my students.
