I teach technology specials to K-5th grades at a low-income school in Commerce, City Colorado. We are a Title I school, which means that over 85% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunches, and everyone receives free breakfast and afternoon snack. Many of our students cannot afford basic school supplies and do not have computers or the Internet at home. We have a large population of Spanish speaking students. I focus on creative ways to integrate technology with academic learning, build critical thinking skills and develop a love of learning.

About my class
