My students- 7 year old second graders are digital natives. They are creative, eager, excited, and explorers. They need to be engaged to foster their love for learning and discovering. I have seen the spark in them when they have options for enrichment activities which include hands-on projects. For this purpose, they need ozobots and makey makey coding kits so they can enhance their critical thinking and problem solving skills. With these kits they will be able to do various activities. They will create a school map and write the code for the ozobots to travel from one point to another. They will also use these ozobots to travel within USA using programming skills and math skills. The students will also use ozobots in literary activities such as they will create model of Native American homes and make path where ozobots will take a tour when students do their presentations. Most students struggle with word problems
