These computers will be used in the Study Skills Classroom to access teacher websites, access online textbooks, access the student grading and assignment portal, create essays and research papers, research career fields for the career portfolios, take online quizzes, create PowerPoints for class projects, and many other uses! I lost all of my student computers in the flood in August, 2016. We have to replace everything from keyboards to printers. So we are starting with replacing our student computers. The students are always fully engaged when working on a computer-based lesson. Since the flood, our students are displaced and internet has not yet been restored in some areas. Thankfully, we are sharing a school building with an awesome school family, and our internet is working!
