The students will be able to read about the life cycle of a butterfly and then observe and experience the metamorphosis of a caterpillar to a butterfly through the use of the butterfly classroom kit. This hands on experience of a butterfly life cycle will provide an opportunity for students to observe, record, and analyze data in a scientific setting. Students will observe their butterflies through the stages, care for them, and finally release them. This project based learning opportunity will pique their curiosity and foster an interest in science based instruction. Your generous donation to our project will enrich the lives of our students and positively impact how they view learning.
