Reading is the foundation for all academics. The ability to provide a plethora of books to students, yearning to learn, is a key component of a successful classroom. A classroom library will provide my students with books to read, both at school and at home. It will broaden their minds and provide a path for discussing knowledge acquired from reading. Each book a child picks up is a gift of knowledge and success! I am working with children who have limited access to books. As a first year teacher, I, myself, have a limited library. My goal is to provide the best possible learning environment for the students who enter through my classroom door.

About my class
