I am very excited about using the Ipad in my classroom. This will be an effective tool for building my students skills. An Ipad is a tool that can truly be used in so many ways! I will be using the Ipad in individual center times, as well as in large group activities. Having an Ipad to use during these times will expose my students to new and exciting ways to learn, while growing their academic skills as well as their social and emotional skills. I am excited to use different apps to encourage educational growth. My school's curriculum also has some awesome apps that are accessible on the Ipad! Ipads would also be a great tool for helping my children achieve their IEP goals! I decided to work on an Ipad because of how many of the apps are accessible without internet. My classroom is not equipped with wireless internet, which makes it difficult to use other tablets like the kindle. An Ipad is the most suitable form of technology for my classroom because it is easy to function, has endless uses and learning opportunities, and also because of its portability.
