The iReady intervention software program has been integrated in our curriculum by our county. It is a wonderful program designed to meet each student specifically where their needs are in both math and language arts. At this moment we are only able to find 30 minutes a week per subject area as we have minimal computers available for all 20 of my students. The county has set our students' goals at 45 minutes for each subject and we as a class are competing with 35+ other classes to get into the computer labs to use the technology available. The Fires would allow time to be saved as we wouldn't have to leave the room. My students could use them at any time they were finished with an assignment, not just in small center times, but also a learning incentive. This is not all the Kindles would be used for! They would also be used for our novel studies, as my students would be able to download the books that we were readi
