My goal of this project is to set up a flexible seating environment in my classroom that meets the needs of my diverse set of learners. Current research has proven that classrooms with flexible seating have higher rates of motivation and engagement, on top of many other benefits. I want my students to have the opportunity to work in an environment that best fits their learning style and needs. All of the items donated will help with removing (most of) the standard desk and chairs and have an expressive and open learning area that my students are able to happily and comfortably learn in.
