Preparing ELL students for the 21st century. The technology would offer some easy ways to help English Language Learners to build on their vocabulary through images and voice. A large amount of my daily planning time is spent on Google translate attempting to translate the English lesson to Spanish as a means of clarity for the student and the parent. To assist students who are learning English, preview each lesson and support the text you are reading with suitable images from the internet. The laptops would help greatly to provide one on one instruction through the use of guided reading instruction and phonic building .
