I am requesting a few different items to aid my students in their studies. The first item is an inexpensive printer and ink is to ensure that all versions of a document can be readily available to students. For example, if they need a document to be translated, have difficult words defined or broken down with comprehension questions, it would be possible to have that readily available. The next item is noise canceling headphones to help specifically the special education students who get overwhelmed with the noise level that can generate from the group work of 29-30 middle school students. This will assist them in being able to focus on their own work. The final set of items, what are commonly referred to as fidget toys, are for students to have something to fidget with when we do discussions or individual work. All of these items are for the success of the students, who are capable of learning in different ways. With donations to this project, we can assure that students are met where they are and helped to cross the finish line of graduating/moving up a grade!
