Greetings! My name is Kat Shaw and I am the new Education Specialist at King Chavez Prep Academy in Barrio Logan. We have 355 awesome 6th-8th grade students who want the best from their education. I want to be able to give them everything they deserve. We are lucky to offer the students electives (art, social justice, business, and AME). I have the privilege of working with students who have special needs. Our campus is 16% Special Education, which is higher than the state's average. However, everyday, we welcome the students to a challenging and rewarding learning experience to help them meet their full potential. I am proud to be part of the KC Prep family!
