My students are at an economical, social, and linguistic disadvantage. Music helps them to escape the uncertainty of their home lives, encocurages them to work toward a common goal with others, and can help facilicate the building of fundamental reading and writing skills as language learners. Music strengthens character, encourages empathy and relating better to others, and the practice of self discipline. Boston K8 is full of intelligent, wonderful students!

About my class
