I am extremely fortunate to be able to teach in a culturally and linguistically diverse preK-8th grade public school in Chicago. The school provides free and reduced lunches to more than 70% of the students. Keeping up with technology is something that the school needs help with and this is where you come in! My students are learners of every type: auditory, kinesthetic, and visual. Providing as much opportunity for students to engage in various types of learning experiences is crucial to their growth, development, and school success. Many of my students depend on visual aids to grasp concepts and to make the abstract more concrete, which makes an LCD projector a perfect (and much needed) fit for our classroom.
