The students at Albert Hill are among those who can't afford personal instruments for their needs. The majority of students tend to use woodwind instruments and lighter brass instruments. If the students had the opportunity to do so, they would try bass brass instruments as well. But they do not have that opportunity due to the school's instrument inventory. So we are looking at every chance to be able to provide new/used instruments so students can have better choices. The lack of low brass harms developing ensembles so right now we are starting with the biggest instrument we do not have available...a Tuba. We look forward to your helping our program grow!
