There are amazing advantages to utilizing technology in the classroom. Our class was blessed to receive a Smartboard but can only be used with an Apple MacBook. The Smartboard will enhance my students' learning experience through visual elements The Macbook will allow me to accommodate different learning styles-tactile learners can touch using their finger or special pen, visual learners are able to see the visual elements. Especially with our school being a STEM based school the MacBook will help ensure that my students are fully able to take advantage of our new technology. The learning will come to life with a MacBook and many students will find it more fun to learn. The greatest advantage of using this form of technology is the interaction! Research has repeatedly demonstrated that students learn best when they are fully engaged. I will be able to fully engage my students if we had the MacBook to utilize our new Smartboard!
