Our library needs newer and BETTER books related to Black history. While we will be using a lot of these titles in the month of February, Black history is HISTORY and should be taught all year long! These books will be available to our student population every single day, and used by teachers to create engaging lessons about those who paved -and are still paving - the way to end racial injustices in the United States. Our student population needs to see themselves reflected in our library's collection, and in the materials we use to teach them throughout the year.

About my class
