In preschool, we don't have desks. Instead, learning happens through play and social interaction with peers and other adults. Most of our whole-group learning happens on the carpet. The carpet that is currently in my classroom needs to be replaced. Some students in my classroom need different support to learn, so during whole-group time they are invited to sit on chairs. We need flexible seating arrangements to meet the needs of all of our learners. My students deserve somewhere clean to sit, play, count, read, and learn. As my group prepares to go to kindergarten, every minute of learning is crucial!
