This year I am focusing on differentiating learning material and reaching all learners. After completing my first year of teaching, I was able to double the Chromebooks in my classroom through a locally funded grant. This has allowed for me to take a completely different approach in how I teach all subjects with mathematics instruction receiving the greatest face lift so far. Small group instruction has increased my student's comprehension and I have already witnessed a great increase in math fluency in just five weeks. Our school district has also purchased a new Social Studies and Science curriculum that each have an online learning component. The additional Chromebooks would allow for each student to access the online material at the same time and open a world of new learning possibilities within our classroom!
