A sensory toy is crafted to help children develop using as many methods of stimulation at one time. Hugibo will not only benefit my students with Autism, but all my students. Hugibo is perfect for children who want that tight squeeze without the human interaction. There are important scientific reasons why hugs are good for you. Research theory on hugging says that it increases oxytocin levels, so that oxytocin release combined with the hugging can have a trickle down effect. It can lower the level of stress hormone and counter anxiety effects. A young child's growth needs a lot of different sensory stimulation for normal development. Hugging is one of the most important stimulation required to grow a healthy brain and strong body. A hug is a sign of love, friendship, and support-something we all need-especially a student who may be having a difficult moment or day. Hugibo would provide that comfort, with his velcro hands, a healthy hug is bound to make you feel better. Hugging helps children learn to regulate their own emotions and become more resilient. Hugs make for happy kids.
