Kindergarten is a year that sets the tone for how a student will feel about coming to learn in our school. Our year is spent building a foundation for learning and development. Social, emotional, self-help, and academic are each areas of development that we address with students. Being able to provide my kindergartners with a learning tool that helps expand their minds, provides independence, creates an opportunity for safe curiosity, and exploration can impact how they feel about learning. By using Osmo during small group rotations and during center time, my students will have the opportunity to use technology independently. Osmo creates interactive learning through the use of manipulatives that are mirrored through the Ipad. Osmo will give my students a sense of freedom to explore and be fully engaged in learning math and reading.
