During the 4 years I've taught at my current school, I have been fortunate to participate in trainings and grants which have gotten me guitars, ukuleles, and keyboards to start up my modern band program, but many of the instruments I have for lower grades like egg shakers and sand blocks have broken after years of use. And, our upper grades students need fresh picks and drum sticks to start out the year. I am raising money for some essential supplies for my classroom that will help my students of varied ages be able to successfully participate in music. These materials will be used for years to come and will help my students get the most out of their music time, which will motivate them to continue with music when they are no longer with me.

About my class
