My math students asked for mice and their request was a valid one. The students have access to Chromebooks but everyone can't always interact with the laptop using the touch pad, the HP USB 3 Button Optical Mouse will be a welcomed addition toward meeting our technology needs. Students asked and now I am on a mission to solve the request. The school year just began and I did not feel comfortable going back to parents and asking them to add one more thing to an already lengthy supply list. I know many of my families were already struggling to buy basic materials like paper and pencils etc., so asking them to spend money on a mouse was unthinkable and I just knew I wanted to come up with a different solution. After all I teach at IIA and needed an innovative approach, enter DonorsChoose.org. The HP Mouse may seem like a simple thing but it will remove barriers as students progress through math assignments and activities requiring technology usage on a daily basis.
