I have a classroom full of authors, meteorologists, philanthropists, and most importantly knowledge seekers. They are resilient and question pretty much everything. My students are amazing because of who they are and what they bring to the classroom; their love and warmth, their interests and fascinations, and yes, even some difficult experiences. I try, therefore, to create a classroom that meets my students and their needs and that means continuing to develop and create a classroom community and a climate of caring.
