As a first year teacher, I do not have all of the classroom supplies I need. I would love for my students to have the basic supplies that they need to do everyday lessons. I am requesting basic items: markers, paint, an electric pencil sharpener. Even these simple items make a huge difference in the classroom. For example, students will be able to use more of their artistic sides when they have the proper craft materials. Our electric pencil sharpener will provide a more efficient and faster way to sharpen pencils so that students can get back to learning faster! Chalkboard cleaner will help keep my board clean and ready to put more information up. I have had to use paper towels and water to clean my chalkboard and it comes out very streaky. White board erasers will provide students with a quick and easy way to erase their boards after doing problems. We have been using pieces of paper towels to erase our white boards which is not very sufficient. When my students have the supplies they need, more learning will be done in the classroom. I will be able to spend more time teaching the curriculum. Students will be happier when they have the materials they need to succeed.
