Elementary students are very capable of making beautiful music--all they need is the opportunity and the resources. Our school is a PreK-5 building that services approximately 325 students. We are located in Michigan, and our area has been hit hard by economic woes. Many of our families have been affected by the auto industry's struggles--they have faced lay-offs, plant closures and buy-outs. The community is hard-working and supportive of their children, but we are struggling right now.

About my class
