We are a class of 24 hardworking students and 1 passionate teacher at a Title I, K-5 elementary school in East Palo Alto, California. My students come to school everyday, ready to learn and take on the world. We are in a low-income, urban area where we receive little to no resources. 85% of my students are English language learners and are comprised of a diverse student body. They are amazing! My students inspire me with their dedication and love of learning. We work together everyday to create and learn. We love to read, write, draw pictures, and discuss the world around us. I am proud of my students and their constant attempts to succeed in all they do. And wow, how they do succeed!
