Have you ever got lost in a book? Have you ever felt like you were bathing in a river with the cool breeze hitting your face? That is what I want for my students! I want them to feel a book and be touched by it while learning about history! The books I am requesting are powerful books that will stay with my students for years to come.Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry and Sarah Plain and Tall are two of my favorite books from childhood. If I can allow my students to experience these books the way I have, then my job is done! Won't you please help us get these various books for our book club?
