I want my students to experience a classic story as it is told in different cultures from around the world. The students will be able to learn about the different cultures, see where they are on the map, and read the stories. They will then be able to make connections to the themes presented in the books with the various cultures. I want them to be exposed to a variety of cultures through literature. As part of this experience, I would like to incorporate activities from some of those cultures, including learning how chocolate, something they all know and love, has changed throughout history. Using the grinder will help bring the chocolate experience to life.
