Bright new books for bright young minds. This is the time when the seed will be planted for the love of reading for the rest of their lives. They deserve a better collection. They are great kids. Respectful. Responsible. They need new books. When the majority of books in the library are from 1998, and the oldest student was born in 2006. That gap is astonishing. If we want our students to read they need books they can relate to. Standards have changed. Books have changed. Ideas have changed. This is why our reading levels are so low. I need help to invest in our students. There is no budget.
