With your help, our students will gain access to high-quality, high-interest literature through the North Carolina Children's Book Awards program. Students will experience the books through library lessons, during read-alouds, or in self-selected reading opportunities. Students will share thoughts, ideas, and opinions during group discussions. In the spring, our students will be able to vote for their favorite titles in a state-wide book awards competition. This will be the first experience of this type for most of our students. We have been unable to participate in this program for the last several years. Help us help our students feed their literacy needs!
