I am requesting a class set of Junior Scholastic magazine for my students. This magazine is written for middle school students. My students will use the magazines to connect the history they learn about to their own lives and learn about issues and events around the world. Junior Scholastic features history, economics, civics articles, and maps that engage students in the Social Studies content. National and international news stories provide an opportunity for my students to read about and discuss issues and events that may impact their lives. Junior Scholastic also provides election coverage which engages students in the process of the presidential election, including the electoral process.
